  9.      xlsclients - list client applications running on a display
  10.  
  11. SYNOPSIS
  12.      xlsclients [-display displayname] [-a] [-l] [-m maxcmdlen]
  13.  
  14. DESCRIPTION
  15.      Xlsclients is a utility for listing  information  about  the
  16.      client applications running on a display.  It may be used to
  17.      generate scripts  representing  a  snapshot  of  the  user's
  18.      current session.

  20. OPTIONS
  21.      -display displayname
  22.              This option specifies the X server to contact.
  23.  
  24.      -a      This option indicates that clients  on  all  screens
  25.              should be listed.  By default, only those clients on
  26.              the default screen are listed.
  27.  
  28.      -l      List in long format, giving the  window  name,  icon
  29.              name,  and  class  hints  in addition to the machine
  30.              name and command string shown in the default format.
  31.  
  32.      -m maxcmdlen
  33.              This option specifies the maximum number of  charac-
  34.              ters  in  a  command  to  print out.  The default is
  35.              10000.
